The Story
When Samantha, a driven Melbourne event manager, acquires a crumbling mansion, she discovers it is haunted by Jack Stirling, a 1950s Hollywood film star bound to the house and visible only under the full moon.
The short form screener establishes the film’s central relationship and cinematic language in advance of the planned feature length adaptation.
The Intent
The project draws influence from classic romantic ghost narratives while exploring contemporary themes of grief, longing, and the tension between fantasy and reality. The screener has been created to support development and funding conversations for the feature.

Screener World Premiere
Love in the Moonlight will debut in a worldwide online premiere in April 2026, streaming on the Hollywoodland Photos YouTube Channel.
The proof of concept screener introduces the cinematic world of the forthcoming feature adaptation and marks the first public unveiling of the project.
