The Story

When Samantha, a driven event manager, acquires a crumbling mansion, she discovers it is haunted by Jack Stirling, a 1950s Hollywood film star bound to the house and visible only under the full moon.

The short form screener establishes the film’s central relationship and cinematic language in advance of the planned feature length adaptation.

The Intent

Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison in The Ghost and Mrs Muir (1947).

The project draws influence from classic romantic ghost narratives while exploring contemporary themes of grief, longing, and the tension between fantasy and reality. The screener has been created to support development and funding conversations for the feature.
